I make my chicken thighs similar to this and I add about a tsp of brown sugar, and use smoked paprika. Yummy!

I made these for my husband and I for dinner yesterday. I had only 5 big fat drumsticks and I put them in the air fryer on 400 degrees for 30 minutes. They turned out perfect. Crispy on the outside and tender, moist on the inside. We both agreed that this recipe is a keeper!

I tried your way to add a tablespoon of butter on top of the drum stick , but I found if you melt 3 tablespoon of butter and then just massage that melted butter on top of each drum stick it’s so much more flavorful and crispy..thanknyou hugs
Chicken did not come out crispy. Flavor was good. Will try again. Pat chicken dry maybe. Followed recipe exactly.
