Listen, we just think that people need more flavored butters in their lives. With just four ingredients, they can have it. And by they, we mean you.

If you want to be extra (which we always approve) you can make your own butter. All you need is heavy cream and it really does taste better.

Why Our Recipe

  • Better than Texas Roadhouse and no peanuts on the floor.
  • Keeping our fluff in the butter, not in the post.

Cinnamon butter that has been spread on a split roll.

Ingredient Notes

An overhead birds-eye view of two images showing the ingredients for cinnamon butter and the finished bowl.
  • Butter: always use softened butter or you’ll get a good workout.
  • Honey: you could use maple syrup for a maple butter twist.
  • Powdered Sugar: be sure to use powdered sugar and not granulated sugar for the best texture.
  • Cinnamon: use a good quality ground cinnamon for the best cinnamon flavor.

Use a Fork

We tested all the different ways to stir this together. A fork was our favorite. You could also use a hand mixer, but that does require more dishes and effort. Forks are good.

Storage Instructions

Store at room temperature in an airtight container like a mason jar for up to 3 days.

Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
