What if I donโt have parchment paper or a baking mat?
These turn out best with a little buffer between them and your pan, but if you donโt have parchment paper or a baking mat, just be sure to lightly grease your baking sheet.
-
Can I make these in advance?
Yes. This dough freezes well, so if you want to make some to have on hand, simply wrap tightly in plastic wrap and freeze in an airtight container for up to three months.
-
Can I use a different nut butter?
Allergies getting you down? We understand. This recipe can work with your nut butter of choice, though it will completely change the flavor. These cookies do not always work with natural nut butters so be warned.
-
Can I use chunky peanut butter?
You can, but creamy is best to keep the integrity of the texture for these cookies.

The texture (and taste) is indescribably delicious!
These cookies are overly sweet, my gosh….1 cup of sugars to 1 cup peanut butter, next time I will reduce the amount of sugar
I used a natural smooth nut butter that contained 7 different nuts and seeds which seemed to work fine. Next time I would use half the amount of sugar in the recipe. The cookies were way too sweet for my taste
These cookies are fantastic! Easy to make, quick, and not much clean up. These will be a favorite of mine. Love peanut butter cookies. Thanks for sharing!

Perfect for my gluten-free friend and the one with an intolerance to butter!! Thank you!
I have made these a few times now recently, and me and my husband love! I sound a good truck that works better for us. Since they are so soft when they come out, we stick the whole tray of cookies in the freezer for up to 30 minutes after the oven. When they come out, they get much harder and I love them cold. Then they are the perfect consistency when they get room temperature. And my husband is picky and loves them! I love that this is so easy and few ingredients!
My whole family loves it. Thank you for sharing this recipe.
