What makes a pretty fruit platter even better? This fluffy, marshmallow dip! This is my go-to for when I want to snack on some fresh fruit but also want a little sweet treat. It’s super easy to make (5 minutes!) and you only need 3 ingredients.

Why My Recipe
- We use marshmallow fluff to keep things easy.
- A whole rainbow of fruits for a pretty display.
- Plus, we’ve included 5 flavor variations!
We love nothing more than snacking on fresh fruit in the summer. You seriously can’t beat fruit that’s in seasonโit’s perfectly juicy and sweet. Make your fresh fruit a real treat with this classic marshmallow dip. This one is perfect for an after-school snack or to keep out on the counter to snack on all day.
Ingredient Notes
- Marshmallow Cream: Keep it simple and grab a jar from the grocery store!
- Cream Cheese: Soften cream cheese entirely before mixing to get a smooth, whipped consistency. Cold cream cheese causes lumps. You can also swap for mascarpone cheese.
- Vanilla Extract: Pure vanilla extract gives the best flavor, but imitation vanilla also works.
Rainbow of Fruits
Want to make a rainbow fruit platter? Here are the fruits that can cover the spectrum.
Red: strawberries, raspberries, watermelon, cherries
Orange: orange slices, tangerines, cantaloupe, papaya
Yellow: pineapple, mango, bananas, starfruit
Green: kiwi, green grapes, honeydew
Blue: blueberries, plums
Purple: blackberries, purple grapes, figs
Flavor Variations
This is a simple recipe, but you can mix things up for any type of event or celebration.
Orange Fruit Drip: Mix in 2 tablespoons of orange juice concentrate in with your dip and some orange zest for a bright, citrusy flavor. This is perfect for winter months.
Berry Fruit Dip: Instead of using regular plain cream cheese, use 8 ounces of Strawberry or Blueberry cream cheese spread. This is great for spring and summer.
Honey Cinnamon Fruit Dip: Beat in 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of honey. This is great for fall and winter.
Pumpkin Spice Fruit Dip: Beat in 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree along with 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin spice OR 1 teaspoon cinnamon + 1/4 tsp nutmeg + 1/4 tsp ginger + pinch cloves. This is pretty much the pinnacle of October parties.
Jello Fruit Dip: Beat in 3 ounces of Jello powdered mix. Fun flavor options include cherry, black cherry, mango, lemon-lime, peach, pineapple, green apple, grape, and fruit punch. This one is great any time of the year!
Storage Instructions
Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
Is there any way to make this gluten-free?
