Do you need some fresh ideas for all of those Thanksgiving leftovers? You can easily mix and match your leftovers to create a delicious Thanksgiving inspired pizza! In our house we love a good Thanksgiving leftover sandwich, but after a few days we are always looking to mix things up and transform the same flavors into something new and exciting.
This recipe is inspired by McCormick Simply Better Turkey Gravy. You can always count on McCormick to provide quality products and their Simply Better Turkey Gravy is no exception. It’s made with real and flavorful ingredients, like hearty stock, vegetables and McCormick herbs and spices. Instead of a traditional pizza sauce, we’re using McCormick Simply Better Turkey Gravy as our base. You can also use a McCormick Turkey Gravy packet. Simply mix it up according to the package directions. Spread an even layer onto an unbaked pizza crust.

What kind of pizza crust should I use?
You can use a prepared homemade crust, canned roll out dough, or any other kind of ready to bake pizza crust to make this recipe. Baking your pizza on a pizza stone will provide the best results with the crispiest crust.

Which Thanksgiving leftovers will work best on this pizza?
This recipe specifically uses a gravy sauce and is topped with leftover turkey, leftover mashed potatoes, leftover stuffing, and leftover cranberry sauce. Other leftover ideas can be mixed and matched to create fun flavor combinations. Leftover sweet potato casserole could provide a fun sweet addition. Leftover vegetables can be added as well.

I haven’t made this yet, but definitely plan to in the next couple days. As a twist, I plan to roll out leftover stuffing as the pizza crust. Thoughts?
Sounds interesting! Be sure to come back and let us know how it worked out.
My step-mom has been making this for years. It has become an annual tradition. With families often obligated in different directions, no worries if you can’t make it on Thanksgiving because the leftovers are even better!
Thanks so much for sharing this with others!
This is a great idea, but I’d do this as an actual for dinner meal on Thanksgiving, minus the gravy as a sauce (the turkey would be cut up to make two pizzas, maybe even three of them.)
Yummy. I had a Thanksgiving duck and ground up the duck and stuffing before putting it on the pizza but it was delicious
This Thanksgiving Pizza with the leftovers sounds great!
I’d never have thought of it on my own, but seeing it made, it’s a great idea, and who doesn’t like leftovers!!
All the needed ingredients from leftovers makes it really easy to eat up a day after the huge meal on Thanksgiving. I’m so sure I will still have left overs to make Turkey Soup and a sandwich here and there .. thanks for this thought of making a pizza with the leftovers.
I cant wait !
Every year, my hubby jokes that we should just have pizza for Thanksgiving. Wait ’til I surprise him with this!
This was fantastic & I will make every year with my leftovers!
Rachel, what a great idea! Only thing, seems like really small amounts of mashed and stuffing. Did you try larger amounts and find it too sogifying?
You can add more stuffing, but more mashed potatoes and you end up too soggy.
I can’t wait to try this. It looks so yummy. What a way to use leftovers! thanks for posting this.
