Ingredient Notes

Red Watermelon Slushy

  • Frozen Watermelon Cubes: If you don’t have time to freeze the watermelon, you can add 1-2 cups of ice and double the sugar and lime juice to keep the punch of flavor.
  • Sugar: This little bit of added sweetness just hits the spot, but adjust to your personal taste.
  • Lime Juice: Fresh is best.

White Cream: Store-bought or our homemade version will both work great.

Blue Blueberry Slushy

  • Frozen blueberries: Instead of adding ice, just add frozen blueberries.
  • Orange juice: I love this flavor combination with the blueberries. It just bring a brightness to the drink.
  • Ginger ale soda: This is our favorite soda for this recipe, but you can definitely use a lemon-lime soda as well. If your blender is having a hard time blending because it seems too thick, go ahead and add some extra soda- a little bit at a time.
