Why Our Recipe
- Frozen peaches make it easy to make any time of the year.
- Honey adds just the right touch of natural sweetness without being overpowering.
The perfect peach smoothie does exist and it’s easier to make than you think. Just throw all the ingredients into a blender and blend til smooth. It’s like sipping on sunshine and is the perfect way to make any day just peachy. Don’t just take our word for it – try it for yourself!
Ingredient Notes
- Frozen Peach Chunks: Frozen peaches can be found in the frozen aisle at the grocery store. You can also use a fruit blend that has peaches in it.
- Milk: Use whole milk for a creamier taste and texture. Can also use a milk substitute such as soy, oat or almond milk.
- Banana: A fresh, ripe banana works best.
- Honey: Honey gives a natural taste and sweetness but you can also remove this altogether or use an alternative sweetener.
Making The Smoothie Creamier
If you want to give the smoothie a richer, creamier texture, you can substitute half-and-half or heavy cream for the milk.
You could instead add yogurt to the smoothie to provide an extra layer of creaminess and contribute to the overall nutritional value. You can use plain or flavored yogurt based on your personal preference.
Serving Suggestions
This peach smoothie makes a great snack, light breakfast or even a dessert after dinner. It pairs perfectly with granola, toast, oatmeal or cereal and can be enjoyed any time of the day. You can add additional ingredients such as peanut butter for a more nutty flavor or pineapple for a more tropical flavor.
