I love this recipe. I have been experimenting with different combinations of dried fruits for more variety. My favorite so far is apricot and cherry. I have also used blueberries and strawberries. Great to take for snacks at work.
My husband has dietary restrictions and Aussie Bites were one of his few pleasures. When Costco stopped selling them, we were soooo bummed. Then I found this recipe. Thank you, Costco! These are easy to make, moister and so very much more delicious.
Amazing! So thrilled to be able to make these at home, especially these days when costco trips are so restricted. I made one batch as written but I found them a little crumbly so I added an egg as another person suggested and they were PERFECT.
These are great! No, they don’t taste exactly like the Costco bites but they are just as good, IMO. I made the recipe exactly as written except for adding a 1/2 teaspoon salt. I pressed the batter down into the tin before baking and then let them cool for about 10 minutes before attempting to remove them. No issues with them falling apart!
Tastes good, but too crumbly. They would not bind together at all.

Itโs an awesome recipe! I made it ! I wanted to try the original before tweaking it. Next time I will reduce the fat and add apple sauce or mashed banana. Add cinnamon or some other spice. I love that this recipe calls for quinoa! I donโt have a food processor so I prepared everything in the vitamix and it works! Thank you for this recipe! ๐
