Today I’m bringing you a recipe from my cookbook. ย It’s full of interesting, tasty recipes that are simple to make. The recipes use fresh, whole ingredients (no cream of anything soup!) and require very little prep. This recipe will give you a nice sneak peak into the book with the popular Banh Mi Sandwich. It is super easy to make, and tastes amazing!
Did I mention this is my favorite sandwich ever? Seriously, I can’t get enough!

Yummy, this looks delicious! I love sandwiches!
Oh, I love bread, surely I will follow your recipe.
As much as I love Vietnamese food, I have never been very interested in Banh mi–maybe because I am not a huge sandwich person. This may be the banh mi that changes my mind!
Try this with a good baguette. If you can get Vietnamese bakers they are definitely good or better than the French.
I wish I had a Vietnamese baker nearby! The closest one is an hour away!
That would make sense given the two nations history. Sounds like the Vietnamese perfected the process during the French colonization. There are a couple Vietnamese restaurants nearby so I will have to see if they bake the baguettes themselves. I love baguettes and this sandwich looks worth giving a try. I’ve only had Pho up until now so I’d like to try some other Vietnamese dishes.
This looks so fresh and delicious! I love the flavor combinations, and the photos here are really vibrant! Your cookbook sounds incredible. <3
