All the flavors of jalapeรฑo poppers wrapped up into a tasty meatball with a surprise cheese-filled center. This is a family favorite!
What would you say if we took a normal meatball, changed things up, and turned it into a jalapeรฑo popper meatball? Thatโs right, get ready to sweat because weโre making jalapeรฑo popper meatballs in the kitchen today. It has diced jalapeรฑo mixed in with ground meat and then stuffed with cream cheese in the middle. They are addictingly delicious, and a family favorite.
These are surprisingly versatile. You can make these meatballs in bulk and freeze them, just add 10 to 15 minutes to the cooking time when youโre ready to cook. You can also easily turn them into a killer meatball sub. If youโre a bit nervous about the spice, you can use more or less jalapeรฑo to your taste. No need to heat yourself out!

Meat options for Jalapeรฑo Popper Meatballs:
We love these meatballs with beef, but you can use pork, chicken, or really any ground meat.
-
How many jalapeรฑos should I use?
If you want to make a mild and kid-friendly meatball, stick to 1/2 of one jalapeรฑo. For medium heat, 1-2 jalapeรฑos, and if youโre really wanting a good spicy kick, use 3 whole jalapeรฑos.

Serving Suggestions:
These are hearty enough to serve plain as a main dish, but you can also also serve over rice or mashed potatoes. Our favorite way to eat jalapeรฑo popper meatballs is on a sub with bbq sauce instead of marinara.

Coyld you use these in spaghetti
Yes! It’s delicious!
?
I think this would be a great way to spruce up ground turkey. Did you serve this with any sauce? If you didn’t what would you recommend?
We usually just eat it plain, but I know that my mom loves serving it with BBQ sauce.
These look great, but could I make them and then freeze them? How would the cheese and other ingredients do being re-heated?
Yes, they freeze really well. My mom always has a batch of these in the freezer.
. I’m making these!! My husband will love them. Thanks!!
It’s a 5- star recipe!!
You say it’s a 5 star recipe but rate it 4 stars. So how will I know what you truly think before I make this? ?
Sometimes it won’t let people give 5 stars. I have no idea why.
Did you seed the jalapeรฑo peppers
Nope!
I just made them today, but I didn’t have bread crumbs so used crushed crackers but they didn’t hold together very good, any ideas what I did wrong
Well, you made a substitution so that seems like the most likely candidate. I’ve never used crushed crackers, but they may not hold together very well.
I can’t wait to make these meatballs!. You mention milk in the directions, but it doesn’t appear in the ingredients. I’m looking forward to making these, but need to know how much milk. Thank you!
I recently made some changes to the website and half the recipes ended up with problems! It’s fixed now ๐
