Just 7 ingredients and a few minutes is all it takes to put together these spicy Baked Buffalo Chicken Nuggets. Skip the drive through and bring the heat at home.
We eat a lot of homemade chicken nuggets in our house. The kids love them. The adults love them. Everyone is happy. In our house, we love a little heat, so I decided to do a fun variation on my standard chicken nugget and do a hot sauce version. We love it! Seriously, even the kids.
These can also be frozen unbaked and popped in the oven on a busy night. Add 5-10 minutes to the baking time. Ditch the drive through and give homemade chicken nuggets a try. You might fall in love.
I am a huge fan of Frank’s Buffalo Hot Sauce. It’s seriously the best. And no, they aren’t paying me to say that and I actually don’t have a working relationship with them at all (not for lack of trying). Still, I use their hot sauce in so many of my recipes because it really is the best.

These nuggets were great and made us feel like we were cheating on our diet, but not really. An easy and quick change of pace.
Made this for hubby tonight and he said this is a keeper!
Just the right amount of buffalo spice. I used our air fryer on the bake setting for about 12 minutes and they were perfect.
I have made these a number of times and there are never any leftovers! As a matter of fact making them tonight. I put them under the broiler for 5 minutes and keep spinning. Great recipe ๐๐
Excellent! Loved it!
I really wanted to love these but the Italian seasoning was too much. Perhaps 3 teaspoons but 3 tablespoons was way too much. We will give it another try though with less of this.
These are incredible and
Easy to fix.
Solid recipe, I am definitely going to make this again. Although are the macros correct? Surely a serving is more than 5 grams protein?
I made these yesterday for a picky teenager and they were a huge hit! I put the chicken in the hot sauce early in the morning so they could marinate all day and only made half the batter which was the perfect amount for two chicken breasts. Thank you for the recipe, I’m sure it will be on repeat in our house ๐
Excellent recipe
