This perfectly light and airy mousse is so easy to make and satisfies those strong Nutella cravings. I’m not the only one to get those, am I? I am a huge fan of Nutella so this dessert really hits the spot.
I love that this dessert comes together in just a few minutes. It all depends on how long it takes you to whip your cream. That’s it! You can eat it right away, but I like it best when it’s been chilled. It stays good in the fridge for several days, but is best when eaten fresh.
You can serve this in small bowls or shot glasses, but be forewarned that you are going to want to lick the dish clean and that is really hard to do with a shot glass.
I add sugar to the cream in this recipe because I like to serve it with a dollop of plain cream on top. Rather than make two separate batches of whipped cream, I simply add the sugar to the whole thing. If you are only going to make the Nutella Mousse (without the dollop of cream) then feel free to skip adding the sugar.

Will it be fluffy if i make it the day before to serve the following evening ?

if i make it in afternoon to serve in say after 8 hrs, it will be fluffy right? heavy cream used here is “non dairy whip cream, right)
if I want to make 1 batch of coffee mousse and 1 just milky chocolate mousse, will the process and ratio be same?

Non dairy whip cream doesn’t sound right at all since heavy cream is 100% dairy.

yes, it can be stored in the refrigerator overnight.
Sometimes the nutella in our jars goes a bit hard – do you think I need to melt it first or would it be better to just use a fresh jar of smooth soft nutella??
It works better with soft nutella.
How long does this keep in the fridge befortjr cream goes off?
I’ve never had it go bad before we ate it all so I’m not entirely sure. I’m guessing maybe 5 days tops.

How much do I reserve for the whipped topping without Nutella mixed in it?
Just a cup or two. You don’t have to, but I like the color contrast to make it a bit prettier.
