Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 13x18-inch baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and lightly grease it with nonstick cooking spray.
Lay 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts out onto the pan, evenly spaced.
Drizzle chicken with 2 tablespoons olive oil and season with 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper, and 1 teaspoon garlic powder. Spread 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes around the chicken.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and lay 4 slices fresh mozzarella cheese on top of each piece of chicken. Return pan to the oven and continue baking until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees and cheese is melted, about 10 minutes.
Remove pan from the oven and spoon the cooked tomatoes and juices over the chicken. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze, and garnish with 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil. Serve hot.
