Rinse and drain the cranberries, picking over them to discard any that are soft or bruised. Place the cranberries in a food processor or blender and pulse until finely chopped but not mushy.
Transfer the chopped cranberries to a bowl. Add the green onions, jalapeños, cilantro, and ginger. Pour the lemon juice and sugar over the mixture and stir until evenly combined.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate and allow flavors to develop. It will be a bit tart to begin with, but as it is allowed to sit it will develop even more flavor.
Serve as a salsa with tortilla chips or spooned over softened cream cheese with crackers.
