Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375 to 380℉
Wash and dry 2 medium sweet potatoes and peel to remove the skin. Cut the potatoes into uniform sticks, approximately 1/4-inch thick.
Place the potato sticks in a resealable plastic bag with 2 tablespoons olive oil and 3/4 teaspoon salt. Shake to coat the sweet potatoes.
Place about half of the sticks in the air fryer in an even layer, ensuring they are not crowded and none of the sticks are touching. Fry for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping the sticks halfway through the cooking time. Note: Air fryers may vary in size, so adjust the number of sticks accordingly.
Once the potatoes are tender-crisp, remove them from the air fryer.
Cook the remaining potato sticks in batches as needed.
Notes
Switch things up and sprinkle with herbs or black pepper after they come out of the air fryer.
