Place 16 ounces frozen corn, 4 tablespoons salted butter, 2 teaspoons granulated sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper in a medium-sized skillet.
Cook over medium-high heat for 7 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is thoroughly heated.
If desired, season with additional salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Avoid overcooking the corn. It should be cooked until just hot. Overcooking can make the corn gummy.
