Take the 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast and pound them so they have even thickness.
In a sealable bag or large mixing dish, Add in 2 tablespoons lime juice, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to the chicken. Toss to coat the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the bowl, and refrigerate for 1 to 8 hours to marinate.
When ready to cook, Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Add the chicken to the preheated basket and let cook for 7 minutes per side or until the chicken cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Serve hot on a bed of rice with a garnish of cilantro and fresh lime wedges.
