Jalapeño Popper Dip is addictingly delicious, and completely indulgent. This perfect party appetizer can easily be doubled to feed a crowd, and has just the right amount of heat.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly grease an 8x8 pan or similarly sized 1.5 quart casserole dish.
Use a hand mixer to beat cream cheese until fluffy. Stir in sour cream, cheddar cheese, bacon jalapenos, garlic, onion powder, salt and cayenne until thoroughly mixed.
Prepare topping by crushing crackers into a medium-sized mixing bowl and stir in cheese, garlic, and butter until evenly combined.
Spread cheese mixture out into the prepared pan. Top with the prepared topping. Bake in the prepared pan for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve dip hot with tortilla chips and baguette slices for dipping.
Notes
Salt to your preference. Cheeses and bacons are going to add saltiness and based on what you use, like a low sodium bacon, that will affect the final saltiness.
