How to Grill Corn on The Cob In the Husk

  • Soak corn cobs in a clean sink or large pot of cold water for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from water and gently peel back the corn husks from the cob, leaving the husk in tact. Remove the silk strands from the cob.
  • Season the corn with salt and pepper, to taste, and place 2 to 3 knobs of butter onto the cob. Gently fold the husks back over the cob to cover completely.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat (about 500 degrees). Place corn cobs on a grill rack and cook with the lid closed for 15 to 20 minutes, rotating every 5 minutes.

  • Shuck your corn and remove silk strands from the cobs. Either cut in half, or keep whole depending on serving preferences.
  • Season the corn cobs with salt and pepper to taste, and place 2 to 3 knobs of butter on top of each cob. Wrap each cob in aluminum foil so that it is completely covered.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat (about 500 degrees). Place corn cobs on a grill rack and cook with the lid closed for 15 to 20 minutes, rotating every 5 minutes.
