In this decadent dessert recipe I show you how to make your own frozen cookie dough bites. Then, I put them into a double fudge chocolate shake. Sound amazing? It is!
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to cream together the butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt.
Gradually mix in the flour until fully incorporated. Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
Line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper. Drop the dough in teaspoon-sized balls onto the pan. For a refined appearance, roll the dough into smooth balls. Place the tray in the freezer for 20-30 minutes.
Prepare the shake by blending the chocolate ice cream and milk together. If using a high-power blender, you can use less milk for a thicker consistency. Aim for a minimal milk addition to achieve a thick, DQ-style shake.
Swirl in a few tablespoons of hot fudge sauce into each shake and add a handful of the frozen cookie dough balls. Serve immediately.
